Paradox Interactive has unveiled an exciting lineup of content for Crusader Kings III in 2025, collectively known as Chapter IV, with a strong focus on expanding the game's Asian elements through new mechanics and regions.

The year kicks off with the Crowns of the World cosmetic DLC, which has already been released. This stylish pack enhances your ruler's appearance with six crowns, four hairstyles, and two beards, offering more options to personalize your monarchs.

On April 28, the first major DLC, Khans of the Steppe, will launch, allowing players to take control of the Mongols. As the Great Khan, you'll lead a nomadic horde, conquering lands and asserting dominance over neighboring territories.

Next up, in Q3 (July–September), the Coronations DLC will introduce a new ceremonial mechanic. This feature lets players legitimize their reign through grand coronation events, which include hosting extravagant festivities, making solemn vows, and charting the course of their kingdom. This update will also bring new advisor and vassal events to enrich political interactions.

The chapter will culminate with the release of All Under Heaven, a massive expansion set to launch later in 2025. This expansion will introduce the entire East Asian map, featuring detailed representations of China, Korea, Japan, and the Indonesian islands, providing players with vast new territories to explore and conquer.

Throughout the year, Paradox will also release patches to refine game systems and improve AI behavior. The developers are keen on incorporating player feedback, with the next Q&A session scheduled for March 26.
