Clash of Clans is set to roll out a groundbreaking update in March 2025, responding to long-standing player requests with one of the most significant changes in its history. This update is poised to eliminate several features that have been around for years.

No Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Time!

Get ready for a new era of fast-paced battles in Clash of Clans. The upcoming update will remove the training time for troops, spells, and siege machines, allowing you to launch back-to-back attacks without any wait. Hero recovery time is also being eliminated, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. This change will benefit players in the Titan League and below, while the Legend League will maintain its current eight-battle limit per day.

This major update is part of Supercell's ongoing effort to streamline gameplay by removing outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, the elimination of training time further enhances the fluidity of the game, allowing players to enjoy uninterrupted play without artificial barriers.

With these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats will become obsolete and will be phased out. They will no longer be available in in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.

There’s a New Match Anytime System!

Introducing the innovative Match Anytime system! When there's a shortage of real bases to attack, you can now engage with snapshot bases. These are saved versions of real player bases that are currently under Shield. These battles work just like regular ones, allowing you to earn loot and trophies, but the defender won't lose anything. This system, previously used in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, is now expanding to multiplayer battles.

To balance the increased number of battles per session, the update will adjust Trophy Curves, reducing the number of trophies earned from victories. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers will be standardized at 10 minutes for all players.
