Blizzard has just unveiled the exciting Warcraft 30th Anniversary World Tour, a series of six conventions set to take place in cities worldwide. Fans eager to celebrate this milestone can soon secure free tickets to these gatherings, scheduled from February 22 to May 10, occurring every few weeks.

In 2024, Blizzard chose to forgo BlizzCon in favor of participating in other events, including their debut at Gamescom. Additionally, they launched their first digital Warcraft Direct presentation, which showcased a wealth of content for World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Warcraft Rumble, and the classic Warcraft RTS games.

Now, in 2025, Blizzard is delighting fans with another new event. The Warcraft 30th Anniversary World Tour celebrates the franchise's significant milestones from the previous year, including the 20th anniversary of World of Warcraft, the 10th anniversary of Hearthstone, and the 1st anniversary of Warcraft Rumble. The tour kicks off on February 22 in London, UK, and will travel to Seoul, South Korea; Toronto, Canada; Sydney, Australia; Sao Paulo, Brazil; and conclude in Boston, USA, on May 10, coinciding with PAX East.

Warcraft 30th Anniversary World Tour Dates

  • February 22 – London, United Kingdom
  • March 8 – Seoul, South Korea
  • March 15 – Toronto, Canada
  • April 3 – Sydney, Australia
  • April 19 – Sao Paulo, Brazil
  • May 10 – Boston, United States (during PAX East)

While details about the conventions are still sparse, the announcement promises live entertainment, unique activities, and opportunities to meet developers from the Warcraft franchise. These events seem designed to foster memorable experiences rather than serve as platforms for major announcements or future game reveals, unlike BlizzCon or Warcraft Direct.

Tickets for these conventions are not yet available for purchase. Blizzard has described these events as "intimate gatherings," indicating that tickets will be free and extremely limited. Fans are advised to stay tuned to their regional Warcraft channels for information on how to obtain these tickets.

It's unclear whether Blizzard plans to hold BlizzCon this year, either in person or digitally. According to World of Warcraft's roadmap, a late summer or early autumn BlizzCon could be the ideal venue to showcase content from the upcoming Midnight expansion, including the much-anticipated player housing systems. Although Blizzard skipped BlizzCon in 2024, they have not ruled out future events, suggesting a possible shift to a biannual convention model similar to Final Fantasy 14's Fan Festival. Regardless, fans should keep an eye out for a chance to attend the Warcraft World Tour, promising a unique and memorable experience.
