To be among the first to try Baldur's Gate 3's crossplay, register for the Patch 8 Stress Test. This is open to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox players.

Simply complete Larian's Stress Test Registration form. You'll need a Larian account; create one or log in if you already have one. The registration process is quick and simple, requiring basic information like your preferred gaming platform.

Keep in mind: registration doesn't guarantee selection. Those chosen will receive an email with further instructions. Selected participants can provide feedback through dedicated forms and Discord channels.

The stress test isn't just about crossplay; it will also assess the patch's impact on mods. Modders and heavy mod users are encouraged to participate and help ensure compatibility.

Crucially, if you plan to play with friends using crossplay, everyone in your group needs to sign up for the stress test. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for the full release sometime in 2025.

Baldur's Gate 3's enduring popularity speaks volumes. Crossplay is set to further strengthen its vibrant community, bringing new players together to explore the world of Faerûn.
