Since its release over a month ago, Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) has captivated fans, and Ubisoft is committed to enhancing the experience with a series of updates. On May 1, Ubisoft shared their year 1 post-launch roadmap on Twitter (X), promising a wealth of new story and gameplay content.

A highlight of the roadmap is the introduction of Story Drops, a series of free content updates for the game. Ubisoft explains, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."

In addition to the free content, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of their first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, slated for later this year. This DLC will take players to the island of Awaji, a fresh region to explore post-epilogue of the base game. Players can look forward to encountering new enemies, unlocking new abilities for both protagonists, and wielding an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
