According to a statement released by the company via Bloomberg, this all-day discount will be calculated based on the standard adult evening ticket price and will kick off on July 9. What's even more exciting is that this discount extends to premium showings like IMAX and 4DX. Considering the typically higher cost of IMAX tickets, this is a fantastic deal for individuals, families, and groups alike.

The movie industry has faced significant challenges since the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted traditional moviegoing habits, resulting in a sharp decline in ticket sales. Aron noted that the first quarter saw lower-than-expected box office turnout, which he labeled as an "anomaly." Since April 1, ticket sales have surged, with "A Minecraft Movie" earning an impressive $408 million and "Sinners" raking in $215 million and counting.

The excitement doesn't stop there, as the summer blockbuster season is just heating up. Anticipated releases such as "Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning" and Disney's live-action "Lilo and Stitch" are on the horizon, along with "Superman" and "The Fantastic Four: First Steps," both set to premiere in July.
