La bêta ouverte de Smite 2 est lancée avec Aladdin et plus encore!

Smite 2, la suite très attendue de la populaire MOBA, a officiellement lancé sa version bêta ouverte gratuite à travers PS5, la série X | S, PC via Epic Games Store et Steam) et Steam Deck. Ce lancement coïncide avec une mise à jour de contenu significative.

Une année dans la fabrication et construite à l'aide d'un moteur Unreal 5, Smite 2 possède des visuels améliorés et des mécanismes de combat raffinés. La boutique d'articles remaniée offre une plus grande flexibilité, permettant aux joueurs d'équipent des articles indépendamment de la classe de Dieu choisie. Le gameplay de base reste fidèle à l'original, avec des batailles et des sièges 5v5, avec des joueurs contrôlant divers dieux de diverses mythologies.

Cette version bêta ouverte présente une multitude de nouveaux contenus:

  • Aladdin: Un dieu tout nouveau conçu spécifiquement pour SMITE 2, avec des capacités uniques, y compris le cours de mur et un mécanicien de renouveau à trois sombres. Son ultime consiste à piéger les ennemis dans un duel 1v1 en utilisant sa lampe magique.
  • Cinq nouveaux dieux: Rejoindre Aladdin sont Geb (dieu égyptien de la Terre), Mulan (guerrier ascendant chinois), Agni (Panthéon hindou) et Ullr (nordise panthéon).
  • Retour de Joust: Le mode 3v3 bien-aimé fait un retour triomphant.
  • Nouvelle carte: Une carte sur le thème de l'Arthurie fournit un nouveau champ de bataille.
  • Mises à jour de conquête et d'assaut: La carte de conquête classique et une version alpha du mode d'assaut sont également incluses.
  • Aspects de Dieu: Les améliorations facultatives pour certains dieux ajoutent une profondeur stratégique.

Le directeur créatif de Titan Forge Games a déclaré Smite 2 une expérience supérieure à son prédécesseur dans plusieurs aspects clés. L'équipe a exprimé sa gratitude pour les commentaires reçus lors de l'alpha fermé, promettant un nouveau contenu ambitieux pour 2025.

Bien que disponible sur les principales plates-formes, SMITE 2 est actuellement absente de la Nintendo Switch, en raison des préoccupations concernant les performances.
