Le développeur de jeux finlandais Supercell a fait une annonce surprenante. Suite à la fermeture de leur RPG, Clash Heroes, ils font revivre le concept sous une toute nouvelle forme : Project R.I.S.E.

Clash Heroes est officiellement annulé. Pour autant, Supercell n'abandonne pas l'univers de Clash. Project R.I.S.E., un roguelite RPG d'action sociale, héritera de l'esprit de son prédécesseur.

Dans une récente vidéo d'annonce, le responsable du jeu Julien Le Cadre a confirmé l'annulation de Clash Heroes, mais a souligné le positif : le projet R.I.S.E. est un RPG d'action multijoueur dans le cadre familier de Clash.

Projet R.I.S.E. partage des similitudes avec Clash Heroes mais est un jeu complètement nouveau. Les joueurs feront équipe en équipes de trois personnes pour explorer la Tour, un lieu mystérieux avec des niveaux générés de manière procédurale. L'objectif est de monter le plus d'étages possible. Contrairement à l'orientation PvE de son prédécesseur, le projet R.I.S.E. met l'accent sur un gameplay coopératif avec une liste diversifiée de personnages.

Actuellement en pré-alpha, Project R.I.S.E. est prévu pour son premier playtest début juillet 2024. Les inscriptions sont ouvertes sur le site officiel.
