La démission massive d'Annapurna Interactive laisse certains projets de jeux inchangés. Control 2 et Wanderstop font partie des titres qui semblent poursuivre leur développement sans perturbation majeure.

Suite à la récente démission massive chez Annapurna Interactive, plusieurs développeurs ont confirmé que leurs projets restaient sur la bonne voie. Cette nouvelle fait suite à des informations faisant état d'une incertitude généralisée et de la difficulté des développeurs à assurer l'avenir de leurs projets.

Remedy Entertainment, développeur de Control 2, a précisé que son accord est avec Annapurna Pictures et que le développement et la sortie de Control 2 ne sont pas affectés. Davey Wreden et Team Ivy Road ont également confirmé les progrès continus de Wanderstop. De même, le Lushfoil Photography Sim de Matt Newell, en voie d'achèvement, devrait se dérouler comme prévu. Beethoven & Dinosaur a également confirmé que leur prochain titre, Mixtape, reste en développement.

L'incertitude demeure pour d'autres projets :

Cependant, l'avenir reste incertain pour d'autres jeux édités par Annapurna Interactive, dont Silent Hill : Downfall, Morsels, The Lost Wild, Bounty Star et le Blade Runner 2033 développé en interne : Labyrinthe. Ces développeurs n'ont pas encore commenté publiquement l'impact de la démission massive.

La démission et ses conséquences :

L'ensemble de l'équipe de 25 personnes d'Annapurna Interactive a démissionné ce mois-ci en raison de désaccords sur l'orientation future du studio, suite au départ de l'ancien président Nathan Gary.
