Ubisoft a annulé la période d'accès anticipée pour Assassin's Creed Shadows , initialement prévu pour ceux qui ont acheté l'édition collector. Cette décision, confirmée via une Q&A Discord, suit le retard du jeu jusqu'au 14 février 2025, pour PC, PlayStation 5 et Xbox Series X | S. Le retard, selon les jeux d'initiés, est attribué à des défis pour assurer la précision historique et la représentation culturelle, ainsi que la nécessité d'un plus de polissage.

En outre, Ubisoft a réduit le prix de l'édition de Creed Shadows Assassin's Creed de 280 $ à 230 $. L'édition comprendra toujours le Artbook, Steelbook, Figurine et d'autres articles annoncés précédemment. Abdelhak Elguess, producteur principal de Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown , a déclaré que l'équipe était "extrêmement fière" de leur travail et que la feuille de route de contenu post-lancement du jeu est terminée.
