Das Winter Wonderland-Event 2024 kehrt für die 14. Staffel von Overwatch 2 zurück und bringt zeitlich begrenzte Spielmodi wie Yeti Hunter und Mideas Schneeballoffensive. Darüber hinaus sind eine Reihe von Helden-Skins zum Thema Winter und Feiertage verfügbar, von denen die meisten über den Battle Pass erhältlich oder im Overwatch-Store erhältlich sind. Hanzos lässiger legendärer Skin ist während des Winter Wonderland-Events kostenlos und kann durch den Abschluss der Winter Wonderland Challenge 2024 erhalten werden. Glücklicherweise ist es auch eine der am leichtesten zugänglichen Belohnungen der Winter Wonderland Challenge, da Spieler nur 8 schnelle Spiele, Wettbewerbsspiele oder andere qualifizierende Arcade-Spielmodi abschließen müssen, um dieses für die älteren Shimada-Brüder konzipierte Zubehör zu erhalten. Darüber hinaus verdoppeln Siege Ihren Fortschritt, sodass Sie insgesamt nur 4 Spiele gewinnen müssen.

Darüber hinaus stehen den Spielern später im Winterwunderland-Event 2024 drei zusätzliche neue Skins zur Verfügung, beginnend am 19. Dezember 2024 bis zum Ende des Winterwunderland-Events am 6. Januar 2025. Wie die lässigen Hanzo-Skins können diese winterlichen Kosmetika für Widowmaker, Echo und McCree einfach durch Gameplay verdient werden.

Um Echos Happy Puppet-Skin zu erhalten, müssen Spieler 3 Spiele abschließen. Damit McCree ein angenehmes Hautgefühl und unterstützende Highlights hat, müssen sie insgesamt 6 Spiele absolvieren. Zu guter Letzt können Spieler insgesamt 9 Matches absolvieren, um sich den stilvollen Skin von Widowmaker und die dazugehörige Highlight-Reel-Intro-Zwischensequenz zu verdienen. Wie beim Hanzo-Skin verdoppelt jedes gewonnene Spiel Ihren Fortschritt bei der Bewältigung dieser Herausforderungen.
