Hori Fighting EDGE selbst ist nichts Besonderes. Es handelt sich lediglich um einen Controller, der vor zwölf Jahren veröffentlicht wurde. Das Besondere an seinem Hori Fighting Edge ist jedoch die Seriennummer: „00765“. Obwohl diese Zahlen scheinbar gewöhnlich sind, bilden sie die japanische Aussprache von „Namco“ (dem Unternehmen hinter der Tekken-Serie).

Es ist unklar, ob Harada diese Seriennummer ausdrücklich angefordert hat, sie als Geschenk von Hori erhalten hat oder nur ein zufälliger Zufall war. Unabhängig davon hat die Zahl für Harada einen großen sentimentalen Wert, da sie die Wurzeln des Unternehmens repräsentiert. Seine Vorliebe für die Nummer war so groß, dass er sogar erwähnte, dass dieselbe Nummer in seinem Nummernschild enthalten sei.
