Nintendo bestätigt: Switch-2-Spiele unterstützen Karten-Upgrades

Nintendo klärt auf, dass Switch-2-Versionen-Spielmodule sowohl das Grundspiel als auch das Upgrade direkt auf der physischen Spielkarte enthalten.

Anfängliche Verwirrung entstand durch widersprüchliche Berichte, die auf Aussagen des Kundendienstes verwiesen und fälschlicherweise nahelegten, dass Switch-2-Versionen möglicherweise nicht das eigentliche Spiel enthalten.

In einer offiziellen Stellungnahme gegenüber Vooks bestätigte Nintendo, dass dies nicht zutrifft, wies jedoch darauf hin, dass einige Publisher sich für Download-only-Versionen in physischer Verpackung ohne Spielmodule entscheiden könnten.

"Physische Nintendo-Switch-2-Versionen enthalten sowohl das ursprüngliche Switch-Spiel als auch dessen Upgrade auf einer einzigen Spielkarte (speziell für die Switch 2 entwickelt). Alternativ könnten bestimmte Publisher Switch-2-Versionen als Download-Codes in physischer Verpackung ohne Spielkarte vertreiben."

Die Switch-2-Versionen für 79,99 US-Dollar umfassen verbesserte Versionen wie Kirby und das vergessene Land – Switch-2-Version + Sternenkreuzwelt, Super Mario Party Jamboree – Switch-2-Version + Jamboree TV und The Legend of Zelda: Tränen des Königreichs – Switch-2-Version.

Diese aufgewerteten Editionen bieten mehrere Verbesserungen gegenüber ihren Switch-Pendants. Titel wie Breath of the Wild und Tränen des Königreichs integrieren nun die Zelda-Notizen-Funktion über die Nintendo-Switch-App für Spielhilfen. Switch-2-Versionen führen auch Erfolgsverfolgung ein.
