Netease Games, Entwickler und Herausgeber des beliebten Team -Shooters Marvel Rivals, hat Spieler mit Mods eine strenge Warnung herausgegeben. Das Unternehmen erklärte ausdrücklich, dass jede Änderung des Spiels, unabhängig davon, ob es kosmetisch ist oder die Vorteile des Spiels bietet, gegen die Nutzungsbedingungen des Spiels verstößt und ein dauerhaftes Verbot riskiert.

Diese Ankündigung folgt der Veröffentlichung von Marvel Rivals Staffel 1, in der neue spielbare Charaktere (unsichtbare Frau und Mister Fantastic aus den Fantastic Four) und die Anpassungen an bestehende Helden eingeführt wurden. Trotz der Versuche in der ersten Staffel, Modding durch Asset -Hash -Schecks zu verhindern, sind Workarounds entstanden. Ein Modus von Nexus -Mods, der von Benutzer Prafit erstellt wurde, umgeht diese Schecks, obwohl der Autor das Risiko von Kontoverboten anerkennt. Ein weiterer Mod, der Mister Fantastic in One Piece in Ruffy verwandelt, hat ebenfalls an Traktion gewonnen.

Netase Games hat zwar keine öffentlichen Verbote für Modding bestätigt, aber das Unternehmen hat seine Null-Toleranz-Richtlinie gegenüber Modifikationen, Cheats und Hacks wiederholt.
