Genki auf der CES: Ein genauerer Blick auf das Nintendo Switch 2 Mockup

Genki, bekannt für sein Gaming-Zubehör, stellte auf der CES 2025 ein 3D-gedrucktes Nintendo Switch 2-Modell vor und enthüllte interessante Details über Nintendos Next-Gen-Konsole. Das Modell, das Berichten zufolge auf einer Schwarzmarkteinheit basiert, spiegelt die Abmessungen der Switch 2 genau wider und zeigt einen größeren Formfaktor, der näher am Steam Deck liegt.

Zu den hervorgehobenen Hauptmerkmalen gehören scheinbar magnetische Joy-Con-Controller, ein zweiter USB-C-Anschluss und eine mysteriöse „C“-Taste. Eddie Tsai, CEO von Genki, bestätigte das magnetische Joy-Con-Design in einem Interview mit The Verge und erläuterte einen Freigabemechanismus mithilfe von Stiften in den SL- und SR-Tasten. Trotz der magnetischen Verbindung versichert Tsai den Benutzern, dass die Joy-Con während des Spiels sicher bleiben.

Weitere Details von Genki geben Aufschluss über zusätzliche Funktionen. Die Montagekanäle des Joy-Con sind mit optischen Sensoren ausgestattet, was auf eine mögliche Funktionalität als mausähnliche Eingabegeräte über ein noch zu veröffentlichendes Zubehör schließen lässt.
