DK Rap Composer enthüllt mangelnde Kredit im Super Mario Bros. Movie

Grant Kirkhope, der renommierte Komponist hinter Klassikern wie Donkey Kong 64, hat Licht darüber geworfen, warum er im Super Mario Bros. -Film für die Verwendung des DK Rap nicht zugeschrieben wurde. In einem Interview mit Eurogamer enthüllte Kirkhope, dass Nintendo eine politische Entscheidung getroffen hat, Komponisten nicht für Musik zu verdanken, die es besitzt, mit Ausnahme von Koji Kondo. Diese Richtlinie erstreckte sich auf Songs mit Gesang, aber da Nintendo auch den DK Rap besitzt, wurden Kirkhope und andere, die an seiner Schöpfung beteiligt sind, nicht zugeschrieben.

Kirkhope drückte seine Enttäuschung aus und merkte an, dass das Theater in der Regel leer ist, wenn die Credits im Film rollen, was den Mangel an Krediten noch entmutigender macht. Er teilte 2023 seine Frustration in den sozialen Medien und twitterte: "Ich freute mich sehr darauf, meinen Namen in den Credits für den DK Rap zu sehen, aber leider ist es wie erwartet, dass es nicht da ist ........ fml."

Der DK Rap, auf dem Kirkhope Gitarre spielte und von den "Jungs From Rare" Gesang aufwies, wurde auf eine Weise probiert, wie Kirkhope als "bizarr" bezeichnet wurde und ihn mit dem einfachen Anschluss in einen N64 und der Schleifen des Tracks vergleicht. Trotzdem wurden andere lizenzierte Tracks im Film ihren Komponisten und Darstellern zugeschrieben.

Als Kirkhope nach der Möglichkeit des DK -Raps in der Nintendo -Musik -App gefragt wurde, spekulierte er, dass dies passieren könnte, da Nintendo die Rechte besitzt. Er erwähnte jedoch ein Gerücht aus seiner Zeit bei Seltenheit, dass Nintendo Donkey Kong 64 nicht besonders mochte, was seine Aufnahme in zukünftige Projekte beeinflussen könnte.

Eurogamer wies auch darauf hin, dass Donkey Kong 64 nicht Teil der N64 Switch Online -Aufstellung ist, obwohl Elemente aus dem Spiel wie das Rambi -Thema in kommenden Projekten wie Donkey Kong Bananza erscheinen könnten.
