Aladdin bekommt eine Horror -Überarbeitung in neuer Anpassung

Wir treten in eine Ära frischer Anpassungen ein, und der nächste auf unserem Radar ist eine neue Sicht auf die Folktale Aladdin aus dem Nahen Osten mit dem Titel "Aladdin: The Affe's Paw". Dies ist nicht die skurrile Disney -Version von 1992, mit der wir vertraut sind. Stattdessen ist es eine dunkle, übernatürliche Neuinterpretation der klassischen Legende. Die Produktion wird im nächsten Monat in Großbritannien beginnen, wo auch der Film festgelegt wird.

Die Besetzung umfasst Nick Sagar, Ricky Norwood, Montana Manning und Bradley Stryker, wobei Stryker auch die Rollen des Produzenten und Regisseurs übernimmt. Das Drehbuch stammt von Charley McDougall und verspricht eine aufregende Erfahrung.

Laut Deadline weist die Synopse des Films auf eine erschreckende Erzählung hin: "Ein moderner Londoner, Aladdin, erbt eine alte Affenpfote, von der angenommen wird, dass sie Wünsche erteilen, nur um festzustellen, dass jeder Wunsch zu einem seelenbefragten Preis kommt. Das Team des Films scheint tief mit dieser Geschichte verbunden zu sein, insbesondere mit seinen Horrorelementen. In einer Erklärung an die Outlet drückte der Schriftsteller seine Absicht aus, Horror durch eine persönliche Linse zu erforschen, und konzentrierte sich nicht nur auf die Angst, sondern auch auf die menschlichen Kosten der Wünsche.
